Lucy Watson spent over a decade writing comedy before shifting to historical fiction; fulfilling a lifelong ambition to actually use her degree in history. She has written for online magazines and newspapers, and penned several scripts. For All The Gold is her first work of historical fiction.

After studying at Melbourne & Edinburgh Universities, she went on to work in Film & TV in London, before moving into digital advertising and marketing. She now lives in her Kyneton, a beautiful town just outside Melbourne, and loves history, cooking, travel, castles and her kelpies, Tilly & Tate.
